Nurse Practitioner

Melanie has over 11 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Women’s Health. She graduated with a BSN and minor in Spanish from the University of Northern Colorado and began her nursing career as an RN on Labor and Delivery. She returned to the University of Northern Colorado to pursue a Masters in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
She has a passion for caring for and helping women across their lifespan with a special interest in young adults and women with fertility concerns. She strives to provide care that is inclusive and respectful of diversity.

Outside of work, Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband, two active little boys and yellow lab. She loves running, hiking, snowboarding and skiing and is grateful for every day she can get outside and move her body. She also enjoys cooking and reading.
